Diskuse Me

If some items are unreadable
macOS can restrict protected locations, items owned by another user, or locations that have not been authorized for the app. Diskuse Me analyzes metadata only, so an unreadable item may simply be outside the access currently granted to the app.
Grant access to a folder or volume
Use Diskuse Me’s folder or volume access control and choose the location you want to analyze. When macOS shows a permission prompt, approve the location explicitly. Then run the scan again.
Optional Full Disk Access
For broader access to protected locations, you may choose to review System Settings → Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access and grant access to Diskuse Me. This is optional; only enable it if you understand and want to grant that broader macOS permission. After changing the setting, reopen the app or run the scan again.
Read-only by design
Diskuse Me does not delete files, clean the disk, modify scanned files, or upload scan results. It is intended to help you understand storage, not change it.
