Diskuse Me

This Privacy Policy explains how Diskuse Me handles information when you use the native macOS app. It concerns the app itself; visiting Smallhall.net is described separately below.
Local filesystem analysis
Diskuse Me analyzes filesystem metadata locally on your Mac so it can show storage by physical Location and by Purpose. The app does not read file contents for its storage analysis.
Diskuse Me does not upload filenames, paths, storage scan results, file contents, or filesystem metadata to Smallhall servers.
Accounts and local authorization data
No account or registration is required.
The Mac App Store edition may store security-scoped filesystem bookmarks locally on your Mac. These records correspond to locations you explicitly authorized and allow the app to request access to those locations again. They remain local application data.
Analytics and tracking
Diskuse Me currently contains no analytics, advertising SDK, or telemetry.
Optional Tip
Diskuse Me may offer an optional consumable Tip through Apple’s StoreKit. The Tip is optional and unlocks no functionality. The purchase is processed by Apple, and Smallhall does not receive payment-card details from the app. Apple’s own handling of information is described in Apple’s privacy information.

Diskuse Me can open Smallhall.net and this Privacy Policy in your browser. Browsing the website is separate from the app’s local filesystem analysis. The website may use ordinary server logs, cookies, and WordPress hosting infrastructure; this app statement does not claim that visiting the website produces no server-side data.
